Since 1949...

Originally Founded in 1949 by Louis Hubscher as a distributor of ribbons and trimmings to the Canadian apparel industry, an aggressive growth pattern was embarked on starting in 1968 when Ivan Hubscher, the current president, joined the company and expanded the product range to include identification products and labeling.

In 1980, the company installed state-of-the-art printing equipment to produce printed fabric labels. It also started to print custom decorative ribbons and produce custom-made hand crafted bows for the cosmetic, bath/body care, confectionary, gift and craft industries. The company concentrated on expanding its lines of ribbons and custom-made bows by forming strong partnerships with our overseas mills.

In the 1990’s, sons Neil Hubscher and Ken Hubscher joined the company and have carried on the tradition of building the ribbon business and expanding the product lines to include decorative packaging and promotional products. Today, the Montreal facility staffs a creative marketing team, art department and customer service, as well as a full range of domestic ribbon production machinery. Our domestic abilities, together with our solid partner contacts overseas enable us to establish our reputation of excellence.
